Our History...

Our story began in the early 1960's when Fred Irving bought the business from his former employer, Harry Massey, for whom he had served his time as a joiner after leaving school. Fred and his wife Connie were joined in the business by their son, Keith, in 1962.
Following Fred and Connie's retirement, Keith took the reins fully and in 1976, expanded the business by taking over from the retiring Harry Nevinson in the Kirkland area. Sadly, Keith died in 1995 aged 48, leaving sons Malcolm and Stephen, who, fresh from school themselves, stepped up to run the business, initially with help from their mother, Marjorie.
Malcolm and Stephen have worked hard to maintain and develop the high standards and reputation of the business, providing care and support to their community. The business now boasts a modern funeral parlour and client lounge, as well its own funeral fleet which arrived in 2014.

Our Fleet...
We are very proud of our Cardinal hearse and two matching Dorchester limousines, which provide a smooth and dignified on the day of the funeral for the mourners and the deceased.
Each of our limousines can seat seven passengers and feature leather seats and climate control. Further transport can be arranged if required.
